Come celebrate the 250th anniversary of American Independence. I'll be at Villa Appalaccia as a member of Rock Castle Gorgeous - down in the grotto kicking up tunes!
I'll be playing in Rock Castle Gorgeous at Pickinfest at the beautiful Crooked Mountain campground and farm. The music kicks off with other bands starting at noon and continuing on until the evening! Pick some wildflowers and enjoy the tunes. See you there!
Dan Fox is bringing the original tunes to OuterSpace. I'll be there playing with Jeff Garrett and supporting his original tunes.

Ian Hewlett is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and proficient songwriter. Ian started playing the guitar over 30 years ago and has expanded to many other instruments - most notably mandolin, Irish bouzouki, lap steel and bass. He is versatile in playing many styles of music including: americana, blues, country, folk, old time music, bluegrass, traditional Irish and English music and rock ’n’ roll. Ian worked at Fender Musical Instruments Corporation for eight years. During his tenure with Fender, he was often part of a small team of musicians that taught guitar to previously non-playing employees.
Ian currently plays with a few bands in the local Meadows of Dan area including Rock Castle Gorgeous. He is a certified member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International and a student at Berklee Online College of Music pursuing advanced professional certificate in songwriting. He loves being a part of the local community and supporting the local music scene.
